One, two or three days

The full day tour is the fastest option: an early train, a guided visit and back in Cusco by evening.

The two day tour adds the Sacred Valley on the way and a night in Aguas Calientes, so you enter Machu Picchu early and rested.

The private three day tour moves at your pace with your own guide and vehicle, and leaves time for the valley, the town and the citadel.

About tickets and circuits

Machu Picchu is visited on fixed circuits with a set entry time, and tickets are limited per day. We book the circuit named on each tour page. If it is sold out for your date we contact you before confirming an alternative.

Common questions

Do I need to book Machu Picchu in advance?

Yes. From May to September tickets and trains often sell out weeks ahead. Booking early gives you the best circuit and train times.

Is Machu Picchu a hard walk?

The visit is a walk of about two and a half hours on stone paths and stairs. Most travelers manage it comfortably at a relaxed pace.

Would you rather arrive on foot?

Then look at our treks. The Inca Trail and the Salkantay trek both finish at Machu Picchu.
